| Kayla is amazing! She labord for17 hours and pushed for two! She delivered Daokta without meds (she said it was painful)! |

Kayla went in for her induction on Wednesday July 20 at 10am (she was supposed to be induced at 5am but the beds weren't ready so she had to wait around). She labored without meds for five hours until her contractions became too painful so she had her epidural. During the next 12 hours her epidural ran out twice and was then turned off to help her "feel" the pushing, unfortunately it took two hours to push so she ended up delivering Dakota "feeling" everything.
The DeGeorge family has been waiting for Dakota for 5 years now. They tried for two years then spent a year on fertility drugs. It was an emotional roller coaster that left them fearing they could never get pregnant, then out of the blue they were!! And now we have Dakota!! She is beautiful! She has a beautiful round face and little nose like her momma and auburn hair (I bet it will turn bright red like her daddy).
