Julie got a tricycle last year for her birthday and she struggled most of the year trying to ride it. Her little legs weren't quite long enough to reach the pedals and then she did have the strength to get going. A few months back we were at the store and she saw a big girl princess bike, it had a basket and a baby doll carrier on the back (just like her seat on my bike). She had to have it! We explained to her that she needed to learn how to ride her tricycle before we would get her big girl bike. She went home that day and started riding. Today she rode all around the neighborhood! We were out riding for over an hour!! I am so proud of her!
